on our way home

These car pictures (especially when they include a sleeping kiddo) are always fun.  This particular shot was taken on the way home from Bryce Canyon--the one and only time Porter fell asleep in the car.  I figured out that he had lost the equivilant of a full night's sleep by this point.  Poor guy!

After a nice evening at the cabin (for the most part), and a morning spent cleaning up our messes, we were on the road home. 

We made a stop on the way home at The Living Planet Aquarium in Sandy.  We had been there once before (pre-Porter), and the girls had loved it.  I was excited about a new exhibit this time around:  Otters!  They are my fave.  Couldn't get a good shot of them, however.

It was great fun to see Porter experience all the fish, etc.  He loved the tank with the sharks, rays and sea turtles best.  We also liked the electric eel, penguins, mini crocs, and jelly fish.

I think this picture turned out so goofy!

Well, that was our vacation!  We were all happy to see our home sweet home, except for Porter who called it a "yucky house" and cried when he saw it.
